The day school got out we left to Bear Lake with our good friends Miles and Julie. We had so much fun with them playing games, riding the 4 wheelers and the rhino, and geocaching. We went out for pizza and raided the chocolate shop afterwards. Bear Lake is famous for their raspberries. They have the best raspberry shakes ever, and their chocolate covered raspberries are to die for.
A few days earlier we had found a dirt bike for Kobe on KSL. We had been hiding it at Aaron's brothers house until Kobe's birthday in June. Well, we all decided to take the 4 wheelers down to the lake to bum around down there. The lake is normally pretty cold even in the middle of the summer, and that day in May it was freezing. The kids were kinda playing around in it and we told Kobe he should dunk his head. He's all, "NO WAY"! We told him if he did he would get an extra special birthday present (we're so mean, we'd better be careful for when he gets older because Kobe will do anything on a bribe). He totally jumped in and dunked his head! It was pretty entertaining!!
We have been going to Bear Lake for almost 11 years now and we have never seen the police out in the back mountains patrolling. Not that it's a big deal for us but this time it happened to be bad timing. We always put helmets on our kids. This time we had all the kids in rhino which they don't have to wear a helmet in. Well as we were out riding we decided to let Kobe ride on the 4 wheeler for a little while. He hadn't been on for very long when a Police Officer road by us on his dirt bike and stopped Aaron giving him a ticket which later we found out to be $50. We kept teasing Kobe that he got his very first ticket. We definitely have to plan another trip there again soon with friends, we had a blast!
