Kobe's Field trip to The Thanksgiving Point Farm

I was lucky enough to get to go and help out on Kobe's field trip day. We went to the farm at Thanksgiving point and saw all the animals and even got to go on a hay ride (except there was no hay). We had a fun little group with Kobe and his two buddies Park and Lance. Holy Cow was it ever crazy on the bus ride over. A whole bunch of wild and crazy, excited kindergartner's. Kobe's favorite thing there was playing in the Jail and going for the hay ride. He loved feeding the goats, ducks and chickens. We'll have to go back on our own to ride the horses... to many kids. I love spending time with Kobe. He's such a cool kid and always making me laugh. I'm such a lucky mom!!

Witchy too much!!

Check out Kylee's hair after waking up from her nap! Wow, that must have been a good nap! Doesn't that smile on her face make you grin- Love that girl!

Easter in Bear Lake

This year we spent Easter at the Cabin in Bear Lake. I love it up there! It is so beautiful and the cabin is so so nice. Usually this time of year it's cool spring weather. This year it dumped 18" of snow!!! The Easter bunny (Grandma and Grandpa) always has oodles of eggs full of candy and money to hide, and this year he had to hide them in the cabin. It was fun watching Kylee and Kobe run around with their cousins trying to find them all.

I have to say.... Kylee has a nose for the ones with money in them (that's my girl)!!

The Easter bunny (mom and dad) also brought Kylee a new dress and a little bike and Kobe got some new church clothes, The new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie, and the long awaited for scooter. We had such a good time up there!
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Johnson!! I love the memories we are able to make up there because of you guys, what a blessing!!!!

Lovin the hot tub!!

Our kids Love Love Love the Hot tub! I think if we were to ever move or ours broke down there would be some major fits, Aaron and I included! In fact I really don't think we could live without it. We would probably have to save up and buy a new one Super fast!

In the winter we love it and in the summer we turn the temp down and the kids swim in it. They have friends over and go from the slip n slide to the hot tub to the trampoline. They totally have a blast! And Yes...we go through alot of chemicals in the summer trying to keep that thing clean all the time.

Kylee used to wake up in the morning and point to her drawer that has her swimming suit in it. Now she's old enough to get it out herself or go and get mine. It's like she has nothing else on her mind. Kobe and Aaron have competitions to see who can hold their breath the longest. I'm no match for Kobe, Man.... can that kid hold his breath- No Joke!! They love to play King Kong and wrestle each other until all the waters on the outside of the hot tub instead of the inside.

We love it, and love that the kids love it!! Please don't ever die on us Mr. hot tub!

Go Bonneville!!!

This year Aaron decided to coach middle school wrestling with his dad. Aaron wrestled all growing up and he really loves it. When all the brothers get together it always turns into wrestling matches between them or between all our kids. It's allot of fun! Aaron thought it would be a good experience to coach, not only for the time he got to spend with his dad but he was anxious to get Kobe excited about getting into it as well. Kobe loved coming to the match's. He would have fun sitting in the coaches corner with Dad and Grandpa, totally enthralled with everything. After the match's were over he would wrestle some of the kids and even dad and Grandpa would get in there with him.

For 2 months they practiced Monday through Friday with their match's on Saturdays. Aaron was lucky enough to leave work for a couple hours each day for practice. It was definitely a good workout for him. He would come home pretty tired after doing drills and wrestling all the boys. They all had to see if they could beat him.

Their team did awesome!! They went to Divisions and then some went on to districts, doing great there. In middle school they don't have State, so these boys did awesome. It was a busy couple of months but totally worth it! Hopefully Allstate will let Aaron miss a bit of work to do it all again next year!

Enough is Enough!

This is what we woke up to this morning. Even Kobe who is so excited when it snows, was bummed out this morning. I think we're all ready for summer. Tami, can we come live there for a little while? The one good thing with weather like this is that Aaron gets to come home from work early- Gotta love that!!

A Surprise Visitor

Yesterday we were so lucky to have a surprise visit from my CUTE niece Chelsie! She came and spent the afternoon with us. We had fun chatting to her about her upcoming wedding and just about life. She even braved going out on the Rhino with us while it was dumping rain outside! We actually like it more when it's nice and wet with puddles and mud. We bundled up the kids and headed out. We lasted pretty long until Kylee's face was covered in mud- she didn't like that so much! Then her and Brad watched the kids for us while we went to see Iron Man (which we loved by the way) What a fun day! Thanks again you guys! I can't wait until they live closer!
